PART TIME PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT

Rocky Mountain PACE is accepting applications for a part time Physical Therapist. Candidate must be a graduate of a PT program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association and possess a current and unrestricted Colorado Physical Therapist license. Candidate must have a minimum of one year experience working with the frail and/or elderly population. Candidate must be skilled in the use and maintenance of physical therapy equipment. Duties include, but are not limited to: facilitating treatment to PACE Participants, (i.e., exercises, massages, electrical stimulation, paraffin baths, hot and cold packs, traction, ultrasound, etc.)

The physical demands of this job include, but are not limited to: the ability to lift/carry up to 65 pounds and push or pull objects exceeding 150 pounds; standing, walking, pushing, bending, kneeling and reaching at arm’s length for prolonged periods of time; working under stressful conditions.

Must have excellent communication and documentation skills and enjoy working with computers. Candidate must be willing to submit to a drug screen, background check and check of driving history.

No weekends, no holidays and no quotas!

Position is part time, 25-30 hours per week. Benefits include: company paid Vision and Short Term Disability/Term Life; Medical and Dental coverage is paid by the company at 1/2 monthly rate. 403B and AFLAC also available. HOME CARE CNA

Rocky Mountain PACE is seeking a part-time CNA to work with our PACE participants in their homes. The ideal candidate will provide direct personal care to frail elderly by promoting health and healing in the participant’s homes; qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and a current Colorado CNA certificate. One year of experience with a frail elderly population required (experience with developmentally disabled adults will also be considered).

Required attributes: knowledge of the principles, practices standards and techniques of a Personal Care Provider; knowledge of safety requirements and best safety practices; skilled in identifying and recommending problem resolution; ability to work independently with minimum supervision; and ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

Position is part-time, 20 hours per week with the option to advance to full-time in the future
